All the content on mezze & tapas is copyrighted material and I’ve worked very hard to produce it. I respectfully ask that you observe the following policies if you want to use my work.
Photos
Unless otherwise credited, all photos here are taken by me or by The Elegant Baker and are copyrighted by us.
If you want to use mezze and tapas photo(s) to promote my recipe or my blog in general: You may share one photo as long as you prominently link back to the original post. If it is feasible, please include a link to my home page, https://v60jcmtj5c8.c.updraftclone.com, as well. Please let me know if you promote my work!
If you want to use mezze and tapas photo(s) to promote something else: You must request permission beforehand. I do not allow my photos to be used as clip art/stock images unless we’ve worked out a deal in advance.
Recipes
You may not republish my original recipe(s). I do not allow other websites or publications to publish my original recipes. I simply receive far too many requests, and I want mezzeandtapas.com to remain the exclusive source for my original recipes. Again, my recipes are copyrighted material and may not be published elsewhere.
Other recipes: Occasionally, I will review and publish a recipe I have found elsewhere. I will always do so in accordance with the policies of the source for that recipe. Additionally, I will provide a link back to the original source of the recipe. If you would like to use one of these recipes, it is your sole responsibility to adhere to the policies and copyright limitations of the copyright owner of the recipe.
All other Content
If you want to use my content to promote my blog or my recipes: You may share quote mezze & tapas as long as you prominently link back to the original post. Product Review Policy
I will only review products and services that I purchase on my own and that I have used in my kitchen, in my travels, or in production of mezze & tapas. I do not accept products or services from manufacturers or vendors in exchange for my reviews. As such, all my reviews are my own opinion of how well a product or services works in the real world. If I recommend it, I like it and think you may find it useful too.
Affiliate Disclaimer
mezze & tapas is a member of several affiliate programs, including the Amazon Affiliate program (Amazon Services LLC Associates Program). These affiliate programs are designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to affiliate sites to purchase a product. If you click on any of the affiliate links and make a purchase within a certain time frame, I will earn a small commission. The commission is paid by Amazon, not by you. The money I earn helps me to keep doing what I love, which is sharing great foods, kitchen tips and gorgeous photos with you.

- Links in the post only go to other content on mezze & tapas or to the author’s own domain/blog/landing page. No links to ads, third party content, or similar non-related destinations. No affiliate links in a guest post.
- The guest post author will be credited, but all guest posts on mezze & tapas become the property of mezze & tapas.
- I retain the absolute right to review, approve, post and remove all content posted at the mezzeandtapas.com
- The author enter into a written agreement with me regarding the guest post
Comment Policy
If you wouldn’t say it out loud, in person, to your grandmother, please don’t say it here.
mezze & tapas reserves the right to restrict comments that do not contribute constructively to the conversation at hand, contain profanity or crude language, personal attacks, false information, copyrighted information or seek to promote a personal or unrelated business.
Any post found to be in violation of any of these guidelines will be modified to remove the offending text or deleted without warning.
By submitting your content, you grant mezze & tapas permission to reproduce your content to our discretion. For example, I may choose to use your comment as an endorsement in future recipe roundups, “best ofs”, cookbooks, or other places I may reprint mezze & tapas recipes. and media kits. If you don’t want your comment to be used for such purposes, explicitly state so within the body of your comment and I will respect your wishes.

DATA BREACH
A privacy breach occurs when there is unauthorized access to or collection, use, disclosure or disposal of personal information. You will be notified about data breaches when mezze & tapas believes you are likely to be at risk or serious harm. For example, a data breach may be likely to result in serious financial harm or harm to your mental or physical well-being. In the event that mezze & tapas becomes aware of a security breach which has resulted or may result in unauthorized access, use or disclosure of personal information mezze & tapas will promptly investigate the matter and notify the applicable Supervisory Authority not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it, unless the personal data breach is unlikely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.
